Bite-sized theatre with an attitude!
Don't miss the second season of Short+Sweet Singapore - the biggest little
play festival in the world.
This innovative and fresh theatre festival will feature 40 ten-minute
plays that showcase the best of Singapore's established and emerging writers,
directors and actors.
Short+Sweet 2008 will feature three weeks of top 30 plays (in English)
and a week of 10 plays (in Mandarin). Short-listed plays not selected
for the top 30 will also receive a staged-reading at The Arts House. The
Gala Final Week will conclude the festival at the Esplanade Theatres on
the Bay. So be prepared for an exciting mix of comedy, murder, betrayal,
and romance with a dollop of sex thrown in. And that's just in the first
ten minutes!
